DJ Kingpin's Page

Kingpin is an Old School DJ with a modern twist. Not afraid to mix up his music selections, you might hear the Bee-Gees followed by AC/DC followed by Fedde Le Grande if he thinks the crowd will respond positively.

At Inferno, his primary residency, Kingpin spins the best Seventies, Eighties & Nineties dance music interspersed with current hip-hop, house and top 40. Throw in the occasional rock & roll anthem to keep things lively and you've got a night of pure fun. Most of the music is played from DVD's with the music video shown on some or all of the 14 Plasma TVs and/or the big Projection TV beside the DJ Booth. At Arizona Pete's, another of his residencies, Kingpin spins country dance from 9pm to 11:30pm or so. After that it's mostly current hip-hop with an occasional retro, Top 40 or Dance tune thrown in for good measure.

Kingpin currently plays @ Inferno on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Thursdays, he is at Arizona Pete's for College Night. Sunday nights, he shares the booth with DJ Middleground and misterbailey at Heaven for Spin Sundays.

Inferno is located in Greensboro, NC on Elm Street in the Kress Building. Arizona Pete's, also in Greensboro is at the corner of Holden and Patterson, across from the Comedy Zone. Heaven is above Much Lounge on Elm Street, just north of Inferno.
