Nothing sings out as bold and true as a Guild jumbo acoustic guitar. If you like the projection of a real jumbo acoustic, this guitar is for you! The F-50 is one of the original Guild flat-tops. First made in 1954, it reigned atop the Guild acoustic line and would go on to be popularized by exceptional players such as Eric Clapton, who graced the cover of the 1968 Guild catalog with his F-50.
Today’s F-50 has many features of the best vintage instruments, with a 4.8”-deep body, a relocated “X” bracing pattern and a new sculpted rosewood bridge. Other features include a solid AAA spruce top, arched figured maple back and solid figured maple sides, a bound ebony fingerboard with traditional mother of pearl and abalone block inlays, “G”-shield headstock logo, gold hardware and a pure nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Available in Blonde (801) and Antique Burst (837).
